Day 9: June 27, 2013

I finally was able to sleep in today! Only until 7:00 though. I couldn't get out of bed until 8:30 though because I am at the part of a book that you can't put down! Isn't life tough for me? Mitch had an overnight so Maj and him had a day date, but I lost my beach partner! She dropped me at Hickham Air Force Base beach park for the day and picked me up at 3. Tonight we had dinner with Leah Kirstein, a high school friend who happened to be in Hawaii on vacation with her husband. We met at Arancinos on Beachwalk in Waikiki and had a great italian meal with a bottle of moscato. This is where the fancy shopping is and all the tourists! Dan just went to the hospital to read about his patient's surgery tomorrow. He'll be doing a c-section and a few other ob/gyn surgeries. He's very excited!!
